Mason is a hands-on engineer who builds agentic workflows, software, and integrations, mainly for commercial clients. As CEO, he also leads company strategy, product direction, and client engagements. He founded Evero, Ashlr’s predecessor, which joined JMU’s 2025 Bluestone Seed Fund portfolio.

Mason works directly on the engineering: agentic workflows, software, and integrations that connect a commercial operating problem to a working system. His CEO responsibilities sit alongside that implementation work, linking company strategy and product direction to what the team builds.
From JMU to building Ashlr
Mason is a finance graduate of James Madison University, with minors in Economics and Entrepreneurship. That background informs how he connects business operations and financial priorities to practical engineering decisions.
At JMU, Mason met Evan Deloria through student leadership and shared classes. Their connection became part of Ashlr’s founding team. Mason’s published account of building Evero describes the path into the business that later became Ashlr.AI.
Evero appears in JMU’s 2025 Bluestone Seed Fund portfolio. Today, Mason’s work centers on hands-on engineering and agentic workflows, mainly for commercial clients, alongside leading the company.
