Technical engineering and GovCon pursuits
Mason leads technical architecture and implementation across application code, data infrastructure, and security. He also heads Ashlr’s government-contracting pursuits: evaluating opportunities, working through bid/no-bid decisions, and developing proposals around a defined technical scope.
Computer science and a community for AI
Mason studied computer science at James Madison University. He co-founded the Madison Artificial Intelligence Club (MAIC), a student community for learning and building with AI. His public club-launch announcement describes that work.
Mason connected with Mason Wyatt through LinkedIn outreach, followed by a conversation over coffee. That connection grew into their work together at Ashlr, where Scofield leads technical engineering and government-contracting opportunity and proposal development.
His internal engineering work includes tooling for reviewing SAM.gov opportunities, assessing company capabilities and teaming fit, and supporting bid/no-bid decisions and proposal preparation.
