Client engagement · Retail fintech platform

Five weeks from signature to production.

Ashlr turned a hand-run retail methodology into multi-tenant software, then connected commerce, accounting, payments, forecasting, and recovery workflows around one operating system.

Challenge

A working consulting method depended on manual analysis and disconnected operating data. It needed to become software that could support multiple businesses without turning a useful methodology into a fragile demo.

System shipped

Ashlr designed the product foundation, connected commerce, accounting, and payment workflows, and built decision surfaces around the work operators actually needed to complete.

Confirmed outcome

Cash Margin Partners moved from a hand-run method to production software in five weeks. The diagnostic engine launched with 269 passing specifications, and Shopify, Square, and Lightspeed point-of-sale integrations were live by July 25, 2026.

What shipped

The useful system, not just the visible interface.

  • A multi-tenant platform live five weeks after contract signature
  • A diagnostic engine launched with 269 passing specifications and property-based tests
  • Shopify, Square, Lightspeed, QuickBooks Online, Xero, and payment workflows integrated
  • Forecasting, recovery planning, and guarded agentic workflows expanded after launch

Correctness before theater

The system is designed to surface uncertainty and keep consequential actions reviewable instead of presenting model output as unquestionable fact.

Integrations are product work

External systems, permissions, and approval paths are treated as part of the build—not paperwork left for the client after launch.

Build for the next decision

The platform foundation supports new workflows without forcing the business to replace the first version every time the roadmap expands.

This is excellent. I love a guy that sweats the details.
